New York, NY--Sept. 6, 2002--Record Management Software, Inc. announces the Voice Prompted Bar Code Scanner for the Simple Records Manager software. Now when Simple Records Manager users purchase the optional portable add-on module, they get a bar code reader that talks to them. They no longer have to waste time by looking at a display on the reader to see what scan is required. The scanner simply tells the user what input it is expecting.
The portable module includes software and a high quality bar code reader with a built-in laser scanner. Among other features the new software facilitates: A) The printing of bar coded box labels and shelf labels, and B) The ability to perform most daily operations using scanner instead of a keyboard. Such daily operations include: receive, return, checkout and change the location of boxes and files in the office or warehouse.
The price of the enhanced add-on remains $2495 for the software and a scanner. Additional scanners can be purchased at the same time for $1600. |
