Release Notes Version 5.0.9 02/03/2017

The following fixes and enhancements were implemented in Web Simple Records Manager Version 5.0.8 released on 02/03/2017.

  • A new feature has been added for boxes allowing for permanent removal. This includes permanently removing boxes via the box edit screen and the Mass Destroy Boxes utility. Please contact Record Management Software and we can discuss updating boxes permanently removed to be marked as such at little or no charge.
  • A new option has been added to the Boxes Destroyed report to list  boxes permanently removed.
  • Exported spreadsheets of boxes, files, and retention schedules have been updated to include today’s date in the header.
  • The Manage Departments list has been enhanced with filters for department code and full name.
  • The Box History report has been augmented to include an option for just boxes checked in.
  • The File History report has been augmented to include an option for just files checked in.
  • The Box Edit window has been reprogrammed to properly display all text without having to scroll when using Internet Explorer.
  • The Mass Check Out Files utility has been revised so that if the filtering results in 1 file, check out will proceed properly.
  • The Mass Check Out Boxes utility has been revised so that if the filtering results in 1 box, check out will proceed properly.
