Web SIMPLE Records Manager
Release Notes Version 5.0.2 3/29/2012
The following fixes and enhancements were implemented in Web Simple Records Manager Version 5.0.2 released on 3/29/2012.
- Web Simple has been redesigned and transformed with an updated interface that makes use of multiple windows within one browser session. Logging out closes all modules.
- The main tabs remain at the top of every page you visit and your filtered settings are saved and available by clicking on the main tabs.
- The user manual and support contact are now available at the bottom of every page.
- The administrator user can no longer be deleted. You can still modify its password.
- The box export has been reprogrammed to export box numbers with leading zeros and capture box numbers with dashes properly.
- The file export has been reprogrammed to export file numbers with leading zeros and capture file numbers with dashes properly.
- The upload of the Portable bar code scanner in the Portable Module has been augmented with increased speed via forced compatibility in Internet Explorer versions 8 and 9.
- The Portable Module location master report has been reformatted to allow for larger number of locations.
- Smart data entry for dates has been completed for box and file check in and export of data by a range dates received. Data entry of dates no longer requires dashes. For example entering 032312 or 03232012 in a date field properly adds the date 03/23/2012.
- Mass change boxes has been modified when using the location comparison filter to correctly list the boxes for a specified location.
- The file list has been updated to properly display the ID field on open of the window.
