Web SIMPLE Records Manager
Release Notes Version 5.0.4 6/4/2013
The following fixes and enhancements were implemented in Web Simple Records Manager Version 5.0.4 released on 6/4/2013.
- All Web Simple reports have been redesigned to include the date that the report is run in the header.
- A new Files Destroyed report has been added.
- Export of retention information has been revised and now includes the unlimited text fields Regulation and Definition.
- All Retention reports in fancy format have been reformatted so that the display wraps the unlimited text fields properly.
- The Retention Department report has been modified to allow for a selection of range of departments.
- The Box list filter has been reprogrammed to allow for searching by a range of dates received.
- All Box reports have been updated to include a new order by destruction date.
- Clicking Remember Key Fields in Add/ Edit of Files has been enhanced to include carrying forward the box number when clicking Refresh Key Fields.
- The Quick In/Out facility has been reprogrammed to allow for file and box numbers to be entered with spaces.
- Uploading of the bar code reader in the Portable Add-on module has been reconfigured. Currently, the initial upload of boxes leaves the box destruction date as blank. Scanning a file to pack it into a box using the 'Box Files' routine on the bar code scanner, the box will populate with the destruction date from the first file scanned into it if the box destruction date is blank.
